History
At Chix Pollo we have over 40 years experience in the food and restaurant industry and 2 years experience serving our award winning “famous chicken strips” to our customers. Our concept is a fast-casual operation with dine-in, take-out, and drive-thru options. Our first restaurant was in Shawnee, OK, in 2007. Our chicken was tested by the Kansas State College testing lab and found to be easier to eat than any other chicken tested. Our first restaurant was named Chix, offering only an American menu. Due to the increasing number of Mexican restaurants, it was decided to include a Mexican menu. This is when we changed our name to Chix Pollo (Pollo pronounced “po-yo”, which is Mexican for chicken).
Serving the “Best of the Best” tasting chicken to our customers is very rewarding and a great way to make money for the entrepreneur at heart. We own and operate our own restaurant so we have firsthand knowledge of any issues or questions you may have of our operation. Our President and Director of Operations own their own Chix Pollo restaurant.
Philosophy
Often franchisees sign up with large national chains only to lose the personal contact with the franchisor management. At Chix Pollo we are more like a family, not a large corporation. We at Chix Pollo will always understand that our success will depend on the success of our franchisees. For this reason we will always be a Full Service Franchisor.
